This hand built pot depicts a mustachioed buccaneer holding his most precious friend. His medals attest to a valiant career. He is made from a buff colored earthenware clay and "antiqued" with a dark clay slip. There are applied clay stamps and sea shell sprigs. The interior and top rim are glazed with a clear ochre glaze.
