#T07010 Whale Slip Trailed Charger
This hand thrown charger is slip trailed with a whale design taken from a 17th C wood carving. It is done in the style of the English slipware potter families of Toft and Simpson with a hatched rim decoration and "pearled" black lines. The roses on the rim are applied clay sprigs. There is a shell impressed pattern on outer rim.
