#T07005 Lady and Colonial Officer Sgraffito Plate
This design is loosley based on a sgraffito plate made by the Pennsyvania potter David Spinner. The inscription reads, "Thou wert to me a lovely man as soon as I had seen thee" in Pennsyvania-German dialect. This plate is hump molded with a traditional unglazed back. There is a finger impressed pattern on outer rim.
