This design is loosley based on a sgraffito plate made by the Pennsyvania potter David Spinner. It depicts part of a hunt scene and is related to Deer's Chase I which completes the scene. These two plates were said to have been always displayed together. This plate is hump molded with a traditional unglazed back. There is a finger impressed pattern on outer rim.
