traditional redware pottery on Cape Cod

This gallery contains currently available pottery that exhibit more sculptural and textural elements. These are made from the buff colored clay body using the ochre and green glazes and, sometimes, no glaze at all. I often use a dark colored clay slip to emphasise the textures and form.
