The Pottery studio is located on Cape Cod, Massachusetts at 246 Woods Hole Road in the village of Woods Hole. It contains the pottery workshop of R. Geering and a small retail sales area that spills outside in warm weather. The workshop is an out building, at the rear of the property, of the original Hose House No. 3 which served the Falmouth Fire Dept. in the Quissett area of Woods Hole Village around the turn of the 20th Century. In 1922, the main building was converted into a house. It is a registered building of the Massachusetts Historical Commission. Visitors are always welcome.
The Pottery is located on Woods Hole Road, the main road between Falmouth town center and Woods Hole Village.
From the Bourne Bridge: Follow Route 28 into Falmouth. Ignore the left turn into Falmouth Center and continue straight following the signs to Woods Hole. After about 1.8 miles you will come to a traffic light at Quissett Harbor Road. Continue through the traffic light. The R. Geering Pottery is the second property on the left. It is sign posted and has parking for 2-3 cars.
